GMIT got warm invitation to attend the CII Young Indians(YI YUVA), Kolkata Chapter Annual Day '19 at Taj Bengal on Saturday, the 2nd of March, 2019. A day filled with story telling and motivational talks by eminent personalities like Mr. Kalyan Kar, Co-Founder & Director, InQube Innoventures Pvt. Ltd. & Mr. Nitin Sethi, Vice-President Digital, Indigo Airlines.

CII - Confederation of Indian Industry is an association of  Indian businesses who works to create and sustain an environment conducive to growth of industry in India, partnering industry and government alike through advisory and consultative processess.

GMIT, as a Yi YUVA member, represented by Mr. Bodhisattva Banerjee, Vice- Chairman and Mr. Dipayan Chakraborty, Asst. Prof., Basic Science & Humanities & YUVA Co-ordinator, alongwith three second year YUVA students, namely Ms. Archana Tiwary (Dept. of ECE), Mr. Rohit Das (Dept. of ME) and Mr. Tutul Sk. (Dept. of EE), was also felicitated on this progressive platform on the occasion of successful completion of one year of YUVA membership and participation in various YUVA activities all the year round in the 2018-19 session.
