GMIT has signed an MoU with CII Yi YUVA in November, 2018 to carry out out-of-classroom grooming and attitude building through participation in various social activities, projects, leadership camps and so on. Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), formed in 2002 as a PAN India platform for young Indians to realize the dream of a developed nation.

As part of the MoU, 12 second year students were given the opportunity to participate in a leadership camp in Jaipur on 16th -18th  January, 2019 whereby the students were given the opportunity to interact with several renowned speakers, industry people, entrepreneurs and other college students all across India in a very successful character building programme.
