Resource Identification and calibration (RIC) Program
RIC introduced by GMIT is a first of its kind program in Eastern India. This programme has been designed keeping in view the growing concern over employability skill gap among fresh engineers resulting in acute shortage of skilled manpower across the country. Through RIC, industries take part in identifying the employability gap existing in a final year student through personal interaction and suggesting corrective actions. The institute takes charge of calibrating the required skill sets to make the student ready for the industry. Industry may also during the process identify potential students for employment and engage them as interns to update their skills before final placement.
